Bassdash Waders Sizing Guide

When it comes to waders, fit isn't just about comfort—it's about mobility, durability, and staying dry in tough conditions. To help you find your perfect pair of Bassdash waders, we've created this simple, step-by-step sizing guide. Let's dive in!

📏 Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • A soft measuring tape
  • Something to note your measurements down

💡 Pro Tip: For the most accurate results, stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart, and wear your usual fishing or hunting layers while measuring.

📐 5 Steps to Measure

1. Chest

  • How to measure: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits.
  • Keep in mind: Make sure the tape is level all the way around. Keep it snug, but not tight—you should still be able to breathe comfortably. Record your chest size.

2. Waist

  • How to measure: Wrap the tape just above your belly button, below your rib cage.
  • Keep in mind: Keep it snug, not tight. Stand naturally and do not hold your breath. Record your waist size.

3. Hips

  • How to measure: Measure the widest part of your hips, usually 8 to 9 inches below your natural waist.
  • Keep in mind: Keep the tape level and snug. Record your hip size.

4. Inseam

  • How to measure: Take off your shoes first. Measure all the way from the floor up to the crotch. Record your inseam.

5. Foot Length

  • How to measure: Step onto a piece of paper and trace the outline of your foot. Measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
  • Keep in mind: Do this for both feet and use the larger measurement, as most people have one foot slightly bigger than the other.

📊 Find Your Size

Now that you have your measurements, check the Bassdash Size Chart! Compare your chest, waist, hips, inseam, and insole numbers to our chart to find your best fit.

⚠️ Quick Recommendation: If you find yourself right between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit and better freedom of movement.

Chest/Waist: Usually the chest/waist measurements of the waders need to be at least 6~10 inches larger than your body chest/waist sizes, depending on the thickness of your layers underneath.

Inseam: Wader inseam should be at least 2-3 inches longer than your body inseam.

Insole: Add 0.2 inches if you use neoprene or double layered thermal socks.
